Tons of pictures

Oi!

How is everyone this week?? I hope good! this week i am writing this email to you in Ribeira Grande... dont worry i didnt get transfered. haha but we got permission to go on a district activity to here and it is BEAUTIFUL. Sooo amazing. We are in paradise here in cabo verde. and i WISH i could send pictures but i still do not know how... haha but its going to happen someday you will see the beauties of cabo verde.

So this week we had a baptism. YAYAYAYA. It was the baptism of lucas... remember lucas?? He is the one who as of last week didnt have permission from his parents to get baptized. WELL he got permission. And we passed by multiple times this past week. So let me review the story :)

So we passed by a lot.. maybe excessively but when the mom didnt want to talk to us we had lessons with lucas and his older siblings and just asked them to keep praying and reading and showing god our faith and he will show us miracles. So they kept doing that. The mom was getting better as the week went on. We kept saying nice things and buying the donuts that she sells... to buy a donut works miracles here...

so we kept doing that and then on thursday we still didnt have permission. turns out we got to talk with the dad. WE were on divisions and i was with our sister training leader from sao vicente. We find his dad in the street and start talking to him and asking him to listen to lucas and what he wants to do to better follow christ and then support him in this decision. his dad understood and said they would talk that night together. somehow it softened his mom and his dad i think and the next day lucas said he could be baptized! We were soooo happy for him. And he is awesome.

So that was a miracles. yet another miracle. :) This work is full of miracles. i love you all.

I know this is the work of the lord and i know we need to trust in him to do it.

Today i wont send a big letter because i found out how to send pictures and i want time to send all of them. I love you all so much!

Love
Sister Johnson
